Grizzly bears wander the tundra in search of food and often cover great distances. In autumn, the Alaskan tundra is covered with brilliantly colored berries. This bear has stopped to harvest blueberries; amazingly, nearly every reddish-purple colored bush in this image is a blueberry plant.
